I pass by this new location enough times and always smell of really nice food. I finally made it, and this new location and interior is very nicely done. It has enough tables and the service is warm. My friend and I shared Fataya with beef (reminded me of larger version of flat samosa, but seasoned ground beef) which was very flavorful with the homemade habanero sauce. My friend got Yassa red snapper and I got the lamb shank; the red snapper was seasoned and grilled well. I did enjoy my lamb, but it was a bit tough, but enjoyed the sautéed onions a lot. The prices are big high, but you also get a nice portion size.

Very nice to have stumbled upon this restaurant. Excellent Senegalese food. Good portions and well seasoned. I ordered takeout but the interior of the restaurant would make for a great time with friends or date night. Owners/ front staff had a positive attitude. Keep up the great work!

I never visited the original restaurant before the interior upgrades but my friend stated that it looked much better now! Prior to arriving, I tried to make reservations and learned that the restaurant does not accept reservations and it's "1st come, 1st serve ". So my party of 2 arrived at 6pm and were seated immediately. The decor is nice and bright. They do not serve alcohol so I ordered a ginger/hibiscus drink. For my entree I ordered the dibi poulet with jollof rice. The food was really good/flavorful and the portion was just enough. I do prefer only dark meat chicken but was informed I would receive both white and dark meat. I would have cleaned my plate if I received all dark meat.

The food at this restaurant is simply amazing. I recently indulged in the dibi chicken and red rice and have been trying to get back over for more since. The service was great, and the ambiance is very calming. You must give this place a try!

The food was extraordinary, the service was excellent and the seating wonderful. This was my my first time there and I'm hooked. From the moment I stepped into the door until I left, I had an amazing dining experience. There were so many options to choose but I decided on the Senegalese chicken and couscous and that's the best baked/ roasted chicken I've ever had. My friend had the Mafe and he loved it. The address is not 4301 Chestnut st . They are on the corner of 44th and Chestnut St.
